ANITA GIOVENGO began dancing at the age of
eight with the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, Civic
Light Opera and then on to Point Park College.
She has studied dance in both New York and Los
Angeles. Anita's talent and love for dance led her
to the professional stage at the age of 18. In New
York, she toured with both the American Dance
Machine and the Jameson Project under the
direction of Judith Jameson-principal dancer for
Alvin Ailey Company. She has danced for Janet
Gillespie and Present Company, Pittsburgh Mime
Theater, Physical Theater Project and has
appeared on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. In
addition to her extensive dance background,
Anita was also reigned as Miss Majorette of PA for
three years. Miss Giovengo has a great
appreciation for young dancers and is devoted to
sharing her knowledge and passion for dance
with them.

HEATHER SMITH is a native of Pittsburgh where
she trained in dance for many years. She attended
Westminster College in Pennsylvania before
transferring to Palm Beach Atlantic University
where she majored in Theater and Dance. She
worked for Disney before joining the School of
the Arts staff in 2002.In addition to teaching
weekly and summer classes on site for the School
of the Arts, Heather also teachers outreach
programs for students at Pineloch Elementary
School and House of Hope. Heather serves as the
Director for the School of the Arts dance
performance company, Momentum. She was
recently recruited to choreograph dance numbers
for Olympia High School's production of Barnum
and has served as a dance consultant with
Orlando Opera Studio Artists. Heather is also
involved in her church's dance troupe, Rejoice,
and has been the School of the Arts
representative to the Ballet Magnificat summer
teacher's workshop.

KELLY O'LEARY, a Pittsburgh native, has been
dancing the majority of her life, training at Carol
Leones dance studio and at Just Dance under
Anita Giovengo. Kelly attended Just Dance as a
student and returned as a teacher and
choreographer. Kelly majored in Physics
Education at Grove City College and acted as
the Head Choreographer and Artistic Director
for Orchesis at Grove City College both her
Junior and Senior years. Kelly has continued
her professional development by dancing at the
Pillow Project as well as Bodiography in
Squirrel Hill. She currently teaches physics and
physical science at Montour High School. While
she loves teaching science, her truest passion
is for the art of dance.

MICHAEL GREER is a 2005 graduate of Point Park
University with a BFA in Musical Theatre.  In
addition to teaching acting, dance, and musical
theatre at a number of studios, Michael has
performed with most of the major theaters in
Pittsburgh as well as regional theaters throughout
the country.  Favorite roles include West Side Story
(Riff), Footloose (Willard), Beauty & the Beast
(Gaston) with Pittsburgh Musical Theater, The Full
Monty (Keno) & A Musical Christmas Carol (Topper)
with Pittsburgh CLO, and Jesus Christ Superstar
(ensemble) with Kansas City Starlight Theatre.
